LOW PROFILE, MacGyver and The Guardian

We’re glad to announce that we have survived the (almost) 18 hour Macgyver’thon, spurred on by a great crowd of fellow Mac watchers at Plymouth Arts Centre on Saturday – thanks to everyone who made it along, no doubt influenced by Jessica Lack’s excellent preview in the Guardian (http://www.guardian.co.uk/artanddesign/2008/nov/29/exhibition-proximity-effect-plymouth) that morning.

And of course, our thanks also go to Neil Rose (www.neilrose.co.nr) and Pete F Davies (www.onec.tv) for staying for the long-haul and documenting the performance for us – you are too good!

LOW PROFILE survive 12 hour performance in Liverpool

We’ve just got back from our mini-residency with The Royal Standard in Liverpool (an excellent artist-run space, see www.the-royal-standard.com for more details) where we made two new performances – DRY RUN part 2 ‘How to save your skin when disaster strikes without warning’ and DRY RUN part 3 ‘Scale Of Emergency’. We had a great time and got lots done – including having a chance to see some of the work in the Liverpool Biennial

Congratulations on your new space to all at the Royal Standard, whose commitment to all things artist-run is, as ever, inspirational! And thanks again to Sean Hawkridge (www.seanhawkridge.com) for doing such a great job in documenting our work.
