LOW PROFILE’s research into double acts began when other people started to ask Hannah and Rachel to explain their collaborative practice
double acts challenged ideas of collaborative ways of working in pairs – explaining or complicating notions of how they work together as artists and why; who comes up with all the ideas; what they disagree on; and whether or not they are lovers.
The artists investigated the practices’ of other well known double acts as a way to make sense of their own collaborative practice.
Who helped to make this
double acts was a Phoenix Scratch commission, supported by Arts Council England and Exeter Phoenix (2006).
Where this work has ended up
double acts was performed at Exeter Phoenix (2006), and later at The Royal Standard, Liverpool (2006) and flikOMSK, Corsica Studios, London (2006)
